What is Mental Health Counseling?
In the world of busy there are seasons of life that are good and seasons of life that are bad. We all experience these seasons. Why the seasons come in different waves for all people is beyond understanding. When they do come, regardless of what season it might be, counseling is a place we can let go and get honest with another human being. Counseling has been around for decades. It developed as a dyadic relationship that revolved around a professional hearing the story of a client and providing support. It is now a researched field and there are tons of theories, interventions, and treatment modalities to treat all types of ailments a person might experience. Counseling is private, confidential, and unique to each person. It follows the path the individual wants to follow and the path.
Here we provide an opportunity to explore your goals with a mental health counselor or social worker. We have several licensed providers at OceanBee that can help you to arrive at the goals you have laid out for yourself. We will create a treatment plan aligned with your individual desires and objective ends. We will take the journey with you. While you are on the journey in any of our other programs or services at OceanBee our providers can coordinate with each of them to ensure all providers at OceanBee work together.
